About Me

In writing the "About Me" portion of this blog I thought about the purpose of the blog - namely, preventing the growth of Socialism & stopping the Death Of Democracy in the American Republic & returning her to the "liberty to abundance" stage of our history. One word descriptions of people's philosophies or purposes are quite often inadequate. I feel that I am "liberal" meaning that I am broad minded, independent, generous, hospitable, & magnanimous. Under these terms "liberal" is a perfectly good word that has been corrupted over the years to mean the person is a left-winger or as Mark Levin more accurately wrote in his book "Liberty & Tyranny" a "statist" - someone looking for government or state control of society. I am certainly not that & have dedicated the blog to fighting this. I believe that I find what I am when I consider whether or not I am a "conservative" & specifically when I ask what is it that I am trying to conserve? It is the libertarian principles that America was founded upon & originally followed. That is the Return To Excellence that this blog is named for & is all about.

Police Officer's Pitch Accepted @ Philly Opener

The above photo was featured in the January 11 RTE posting entitled Sharia Law Prohibits Muslims From Assimilating Into American Society.  The photo shows a man, allegedly Edward Archer, engaged with a police vehicle.  A video of the incident shows Archer fired a weapon 11 times @ Philadelphia Police Officer Jesse Hartnett (in the police car) & ran after hitting the officer 3 times.   Officer Hartnett unbelievably gave chase & Archer was apprehended.  Archer is a convicted felon, who admitted to "acting in the name of Islam" & repeatedly confessed "I follow Allah. I pledge my allegiance to Islamic State, & that's why I did what I did" (tried to assassinate Officer Hartnett) according to Homicide Captain James Clark.
 
The Philadelphia Phillies were honored to have Officer Hartnett throw out the ceremonial first pitch of their home opener baseball game.  After tossing the first pitch Officer Hartnett was joined on the field by his girlfriend Lily Abdullina.

    One of the reasons Trump is getting votes, he is against Muslims in U.S. until it is known whether or not they are terrorists. People read and hear of Muslim terror tactics. Also people are against present state and federal govt. officials who get good salaries but do nothing constructive for country - they are fed up.

    Might not happen this year, but third party will be coming soon.

    Did I hear someone say that had nothing to do with terrorism? Happy to see that he survived so well, the bright light in that video was the Phanatic, have to admit he is one of my favorite persons. Still laughing!
